This family home required a complete landscape and hardscape restoration to transform it into a welcoming retreat. Designer Hannah Seaton collaborated with Ed Castro Landscape (ECL), architects, and builders to develop a comprehensive plan that catered to the family’s needs while enhancing the home’s aesthetics.

Challenges & Successful Solutions

Extensive drainage and stormwater management were essential to ensure the property’s resilience and sustainability. ECL implemented permeable pavers to manage stormwater effectively, preventing issues and promoting environmental health.

Creating a multipurpose court area provided recreational space for the family. The court is versatile, catering to various activities and enhancing the property’s usability. The landscape and hardscape elements were meticulously restored and integrated, resulting in a cohesive and functional outdoor environment perfect for a family retreat.
